Blue Flower

We are a young consulting firm, but one that is staffed by a small team of talented, hard-working IT professionals, each with many years experience of working at and with Fortune 500 companies. Our corporate history may be short, but our individual work histories are long and distinguished.

Since all partners in the firm have had successful careers, we are at a stage in our lives where we have the luxury of not being motived purely by money. Our reason for creating Tulipa Technologies was to provide services that aim to combine world-class technical expertise with the highest possible level of friendliness, honesty, and integrity, even if this means sometimes not taking on a client if we don't believe that we are in the best position to help that client, and even if this means referring that potential client to one of our competitors.

It may sound a little naive, but we actually believe that operating in this manner creates good karma. Also, unlike a publicly traded company, we are not beholden to any shareholders and thereby not obliged to strive for maximize profits. We believe that the best way we can help ourselves is by taking a long term view to client acquisition -- if we accept only a small number of clients and only those clients that we are very confident we can help, we will be in a much more likely position to end up with highly satisfied clients, who would then presumably recommend us to their friends and relatives.

In some ways, you could say that how we see ourselves is as a small luxury boutique hotel in a world filled far too many mediocre faceless chain hotels and unmemorable cheap motels. We are not trying to be all things to all companies. Multi-national enterprises with billions of dollars in annual revenue already have their own IT departments that could best be audited by consulting firms of similarly large size and scope. But, if you are the owner of a small to medium business, you may have come to the right place.
